An online retailer is pulling more than 1,000 lounge chairs from the market after a consumer suffered a finger amputation while adjusting the product, federal safety officials announced Friday.

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) identified approximately 1,155 units manufactured in China that are subject to the immediate recall.
The hazard involves a specific pinch point on the furniture.
The recalled lounge chairs are blue and measure 76 inches long, 23 inches wide, and 13 inches high.
They feature a five-position adjustable locking system, with a backrest height adjustable from 13.5 inches to 26.5 inches, according to the CPSC.

The affected items carry model number NP10025NY on their packaging. They were distributed via Amazon.
com and Giantex. com from August 2023 through October 2025, retailing between $75 and $90.
Refund and Disposal Instructions
Consumers should stop using the recalled lounge chairs immediately and contact Giantex for a full refund, the recall states.
Customers will be instructed to either request a prepaid return package or destroy the chair by detaching the headrest pillow, cutting the fabric, and providing photographic proof of destruction.

The manufacturing company is directly coordinating the remedy process. Anyone who purchased the chair is asked to contact Giantex for a full refund.
