The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation after British singer-songwriter Talay Riley died following a stabbing in Silvertown, east London, on Friday morning.
Officers responded to reports of a stabbing at a Rayleigh Road address at 9 a. m.

They found the 35-year-old musician, whose real name is Mark Orabiyi, in a garden with fatal wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. His family is receiving support from specialist police officers.
Another man in his 20s was taken to a hospital with multiple stab wounds. As of Sunday evening, he remained in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Three individuals were arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday.
A 27-year-old man has been released on bail, while a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were released with no further action.
Family and Industry Tributes
Riley's family released a statement remembering his impact. "He brought love, light, and joy to our family and to all who knew him," they said.
They expressed deep appreciation for his artistic abilities. "We will always cherish his kindness, beautiful spirit, and remarkable talent.
His presence touched many lives, and his memory will remain in our hearts forever."
The tribute concluded: "May his soul rest in perfect peace."
Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke, leading the investigation, said: "This is a tragic incident and my thoughts remain with Mark's family and loved ones."
She urged witnesses or anyone with CCTV or other footage from the morning to come forward.

Prominent music figures reacted on social media. Grime artist Stormzy wrote: "I'm sorry bro."
