The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a nationwide Food Alert for Action, ordering the immediate withdrawal and recall of all frozen products from Inarah's Frozen Food Ltd. The alert, dated June 5, 2026, covers items sold under the Inarah's Frozen Foods, Inarah's Fine Foods, and New York Crispy brands.

The recall applies to all pack sizes and best-before dates.

The FSA stated that the company failed to prove its chicken, beef, fish, and vegetarian items met required food hygiene and safety standards.

The investigation intensified after Stoke-on-Trent City Council discovered the facility was distributing items with illegal labels and a complete lack of traceability.

Contaminated packages carry labels linking them to Inarah Frozen Foods LTD in Walsall, Four Seasons Food Group in Stoke-on-Trent, or KBH Foods in Bradford.

The FSA stated that the affected inventory reached various businesses throughout the United Kingdom, necessitating immediate local enforcement to protect public health.

"All frozen products by Inarah's Frozen Food Ltd should be removed from sale and not consumed because of food safety concerns," the FSA said on its website.

"Food businesses and consumers should be aware that frozen products in Inarah's Frozen Food, Inarah's Fine Food, and New York Crispy packaging may be unsafe to eat and should be withdrawn from the market and recalled from consumers.

These products should not be consumed."

The regulatory body explained that the manufacturer could not verify that the items were processed under hygienic conditions, creating substantial health risks for the public.

"Inarah's Frozen Foods Ltd has been unable to demonstrate that the products in this alert have been produced and handled safely," the FSA stated.

"Products that have not met food hygiene and safety requirements pose a risk to consumers and may be unsafe to eat.

The products are known to have been supplied to food businesses across the UK."

The agency detailed that the warning encompasses multiple product types and batch identifiers distributed to commercial vendors.

"These brands cover a wide range of frozen products including chicken, beef, fish and vegetarian items, packaged in different size packaging with multiple best before dates and/or batch numbers," the FSA stated.

Local authorities received explicit directions to oversee the removal process and ensure that retailers comply with the emergency safety mandate.

"All frozen products with either 'Inarah's Frozen Foods', 'Inarah's Fine Foods' or 'New York Crispy' with one of the above addresses are included in this alert," the FSA stated.

"Food businesses selling these products in the UK are advised to immediately stop sales, undertake product withdrawals, and where there have been retail sales, to undertake product recalls.

Products should be disposed of safely."

The organization instructed enforcement networks to monitor retail environments closely and log all compliance activities.

"We are asking enforcement authorities to ensure that businesses who have received the affected products take action to ensure that these products are withdrawn from the market and, where there have been retail sales, recalled," the FSA stated.

"We are also asking the local authorities to inform the FSA of product withdrawal and recall actions."

Stoke-on-Trent City Council confirmed it initiated the regulatory response following its local health enforcement discoveries.

"We are aware of the Food Alert for Action issued by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in relation to findings at Inarah's Frozen Food in Stoke-on-Trent," a council spokesperson said.

"This has come after we alerted the FSA to investigations we carried out, which found the premises was selling frozen food products with illegal labels and with no traceability.

We have taken firm action already to remove these products from the market and will continue to assist any other businesses in Stoke-on-Trent that may have affected products.

We also want to remind residents to check their food at home and to not consume these products."
