A massive fire has completely destroyed Ora Restaurant & Cafe in Wijdenes, Netherlands, early Tuesday morning.
Police are investigating the blaze as suspected arson after discovering racist graffiti on the building's walls.

Emergency services received the first report around 3:00 a. m.
on June 2, 2026. The situation escalated quickly, prompting a major fire response.
Firefighters deployed six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform to combat the flames. They brought the fire under control by approximately 7:00 a.
m. , preventing it from spreading further.
Crews remained on-site to extinguish remaining hotspots. They used a crane to dismantle parts of the heavily damaged structure.

Racist Graffiti Found
Police discovered large racist slogans spray-painted on the walls of the property. The graffiti included derogatory phrases and slurs.
Detectives are investigating whether a racist motive underlies the suspected arson. Forensic investigators have been deployed to examine the scene for evidence, according to a police spokesperson.
No injuries were reported from the incident. However, authorities closed the N506 road for several hours due to the emergency response.
Residents in nearby Oosterblokker and Westwoud were advised to close windows and doors because of heavy smoke and odor pollution.
