The hit drama series Euphoria concluded its third season with a dramatic finale that revealed the tragic death of its main character, Rue Bennett.
The episode, titled In God We Trust, aired on June 1, 2026, on HBO after a four-year hiatus.

During the episode, Rue, portrayed by Zendaya, attempted to double-cross rival crime bosses Laurie and Alamo Brown in a deal with the Drug Enforcement Agency.

After escaping Laurie's headquarters with incriminating evidence, Rue suffered severe injuries and eventually succumbed to a fatal overdose from painkillers laced with fentanyl.
