Las Vegas police arrested a suspect after an attacker stabbed three barrel racing horses early Saturday morning at the South Point Casino barns.
The incident occurred around 2:07 a. m.

Authorities responded to a report of an injured animal and later confirmed that a sharp object, believed to be a knife, was used to intentionally injure three horses.
Horses Receiving Treatment
Barrel racer Hailey Krahenbuhl said her horse, Saaul Good, known as "Sully," sustained multiple stab wounds and is recovering after veterinary treatment.
Another of her horses, Foxy, was nearly injured but unharmed.
Competitor Arielle Phillips reported that her mare, Detail, was the second horse targeted.

Phillips found Detail loose and bleeding; a veterinarian determined the injuries were consistent with stab wounds.
Keira Weisbart confirmed her horse, Rocket, suffered three stab wounds and several attempted wounds. Rocket received stitches and is expected to fully recover.
Weisbart stated she does not hold the South Point venue responsible and thanked the public for support. She noted a suspect was reportedly in custody.
The NBHA released a statement confirming the isolated incident and said all appropriate measures were taken for the horses' well-being.
The association requested respect for those involved and directed inquiries to Bailey Nahrgang, Director of Barrel Racing.
