Music mogul Clive Davis was admitted to a New York City hospital on Friday evening, May 29, 2026, due to an upper respiratory infection.
The 94-year-old record producer entered the medical facility out of an abundance of caution, according to a statement from his spokesperson.

Representatives report that his release is expected within the next 24 hours.
The hospitalization follows a major three-day Memorial Day weekend gathering hosted by Davis at his 17-acre vacation estate in Pound Ridge, New York.
Designer and curator Andy Yu documented the celebrations on Instagram, noting that 100 international guests attended star-studded dinners and a private theater performance.
Davis's countryside residence features a state-of-the-art home theater that he uses frequently for large gatherings and personal relaxation.

"I use it every weekend," Davis said, adding that the theater accommodates up to 80 guests and provides high-definition clarity.
He told Billboard that the property offers a vital psychological escape from his intensive professional schedule in Manhattan.
"The idea of coming up to this house every weekend is a tremendous respite," Davis said.
Davis has faced prior medical challenges, including a Bell's Palsy diagnosis in February 2021.
