Stagecoach South West has altered several bus routes between Torquay and Paignton due to the closure of Hyde Road during the Torbay Airshow weekend.
The transit company warned passengers to prepare for delays and schedule adjustments as thousands of visitors travel to the regional event.

Services 12, 22, and 24 are operating on amended routes to maintain access to the Paignton Bus Station.
Temporary Stop and Extra Buses
A temporary drop-off stop has been established on Torquay Road near Victoria Park for the weekend.
This location provides the most direct access for commuters traveling from Torquay to Paignton Green and the main airshow site.
Additional buses are also being deployed throughout the weekend to manage the increased passenger volume.
Services 12 and 22 are being rerouted via Cecil Road, Colley End Road, Kings Ash Road, and Totnes Road.

Service 24 is utilizing Southfield Road, Colley End Road, Kings Ash Road, and Totnes Road before terminating at the station.
The company urged passengers to monitor live updates and track vehicles using the Stagecoach mobile application.
"We anticipate some disruption across our network this weekend as a result of the Hyde Road closure.
We appreciate our customers’ patience and understanding while these temporary diversions are in place, and we are committed to keeping passengers moving safely and efficiently," said Peter Knight, Managing Director of Stagecoach South West.

The transport operator apologized for the disruptions caused by the road closure and thanked passengers for their cooperation.
