James H. "Jim" Blosser Jr., a U. S.
Air Force veteran and retired factory foreman, died at his residence in Defiance on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

He was 66.
Blosser was born on December 27, 1959, in Rome, New York, to the late James and Patricia Blosser, according to an obituary from Schaffer Funeral Home.
Career and Community
After his military service, Blosser worked for more than 25 years as a foreman at Johns Manville before retiring.
He was a charter member of the West Ohio Iron Coffins MC.
His hobbies included riding motorcycles, working on cars and firearms, hunting, spending time outdoors, and collecting silver.

Survivors
Blosser is survived by his three daughters: Lindsay Dietsch, Mallory Straka, and Emiley Blosser, as well as five grandchildren.
His surviving siblings include brothers Brad Brehm and Chris Blosser, and sisters Pam Moody and Paula Markley.
Visitation and Funeral
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home South, Lawson-Roessner Chapel, 1753 S.
Clinton Street in Defiance.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at the same location, with Pastor Thomas Ordway officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
