Olivia Rodrigo's previous studio albums have reentered and climbed multiple Billboard charts as of June 8, 2026, driven by anticipation for her upcoming third album.
The resurgence follows the release of her second single, "The Cure," which debuted in the top 10 across nine Billboard rankings.

Her first single, "Drop Dead," also reached new peaks on the Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay, and Radio Songs charts at positions 8, 12, and 16, respectively.
Chart Performance Details
According to Billboard data, Rodrigo's debut album, Sour, reentered the Vinyl Albums chart at No. 24 and the Top Streaming Albums chart at No. 43.
On the Billboard 200, Sour advanced from No. 46 to No. 39, while her sophomore album, Guts, jumped from No. 62 to No. 50.
Guts also returned to the Top Streaming Albums chart at No. 46 and climbed to No. 4 on the Top Alternative Albums chart.
Additionally, Guts moved from No. 11 to No. 8 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums tally.

The upcoming full-length project, titled You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, marks a departure from her previous four-letter album titles.
Rodrigo explained during an interview with Dazed magazine that the title originated from a casual studio session with her producer, Dan Nigro.
"I was having a conversation with him and he said, ‘You seem pretty sad for a girl so in love,’ and I was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s exactly what I’ve been trying to go for,'" shared the Grammy winner.
The singer stated that the decision was driven by how the phrase matched the emotional and sonic vibe of her new material, which explores the anxieties of experiencing real romantic love for the first time.

"I wasn’t like, ‘I need to break out of this because I’m this age now’ and blah, blah, blah," said Rodrigo, dismissing assumptions that she felt pressured to abandon her previous branding format.
