A single lottery player in Alberta won a $15 million Lotto Max jackpot during the June 5 draw, according to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC).
The winning ticket secured the entire main prize, while two other players in Ontario and Atlantic Canada split additional bonus winnings, each taking home over $76,766.90.

The WCLC has not released further details about the identities of the winners.
The $15 million jackpot accumulated after the previous Lotto Max draw on June 2 failed to produce a top prize winner for its $10 million base jackpot.
The winning numbers for the June 2 draw were 06, 07, 23, 28, 34, 40, and 43, with bonus number 52.
An Ontario ticket holder matched six of seven numbers plus the bonus during that draw to claim a $138,272.80 prize.
The June 2 MaxPlus draw produced two separate $100,000 winners in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, while the Extra draw had 38 winners of $1,000 each with numbers 12, 62, 76, and 93.

These wins follow back-to-back multimillion-dollar jackpots for Canadian players over the preceding weekend.
A Lotto Max draw on May 29 yielded a $10 million jackpot winner from a ticket purchased in Ontario.
The winning numbers for that draw were 03, 14, 15, 40, 45, 48, and 49, with bonus number 43.
A second-tier ticket bought in Winnipeg matched six numbers to win $159,374, while three $100,000 MaxPlus prizes were won in Alberta, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

On May 30, a separate lottery ticket sold in Peterborough, Ontario, hit a $16 million Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball jackpot with the winning number 55248239-01, according to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
