ITV has adjusted its Friday, June 5, 2026, lineup, removing Emmerdale and Coronation Street from their regular time slots to broadcast the FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier between Spain and England.

The delayed episodes will not air on television or become available for early streaming during the pre-empted Friday evening window.

Viewers can watch the postponed installments on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Emmerdale returns at 8:00 p.

m. , followed by Coronation Street at 8:30 p.

m.

Further sports coverage will cause additional broadcast changes the following week.

ITVX, the network's streaming platform, informed viewers about the multi-week adjustments via a public statement on social media.

"There may be a little disruption to your soap schedule over the next few weeks, but don't worry, we'll keep you informed on when and where to find us.

Remember, you can watch each episode from 7am on ITVX & YouTube!" the ITVX account stated.

Subsequent programming changes will continue past Monday's regular broadcasts.

Both soaps will be off air on Tuesday, June 9, and the Wednesday, June 10 episodes will move one hour earlier to accommodate a World Cup qualifier between England and Ukraine.
