Municipal organizations and local advocates in New York City and Pittsburgh have finalized scheduling coordinates for regional 2026 Pride Month celebrations, running from late May through July.

Organizers distributed specific routes and scheduling logistics for consecutive borough events, dance performances, and family-oriented programming across both metropolitan areas.

New York City Events

New York City launches its activities in Staten Island and Queens before concluding with the central Manhattan march on June 28.

The Pride Center of Staten Island will lead the annual Staten Island Pride Festival at 1000 Richmond Terrace on May 30, according to Gay City News.

The LGBT Network organized the 34th annual Queens Pride parade for June 7 in Jackson Heights, designating FDNY Commissioner Lillian Bonsignore as a grand marshal.

Brooklyn Pride organizers scheduled a twilight parade along Fifth Avenue on June 13, following a morning athletic event.

Destination Tomorrow will oversee the Bronx Pride festivities on June 20, while additional regional parades will span Long Island, Harlem, and the Hudson Valley.

The central New York City Pride March on June 28 features actors Bowen Yang, Peppermint, and Dominique Jackson as grand marshals along Fifth Avenue, accompanied by the free Pride Fest street fair on Fourth Avenue.

Cultural venues across the city scheduled targeted gatherings, including film screenings at Bibliotheque, sports promotions at Maimonides Park, and musical performances at Under the K Bridge Park.

Pittsburgh Celebrations

Concurrently, Pittsburgh established an independent schedule of family and youth programs centered around Allegheny Commons Park West on June 6 and 7.

The Andy Warhol Museum organized inclusive activities for regional teenagers later in the month.

"The most important accessory is your true self," said the event's organizers, referring to the 12th-annual LGBTQ+ Youth Prom scheduled at the museum.

Pittsburgh activities conclude with educational library programs, outdoor family gatherings at Allegheny RiverTrail Park, and a designated Black Pride Family Day on South Highland Avenue in late July.
