The 20th Century Studios and New Regency horror film Psycho Killer begins streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the United States on Friday, May 29, 2026.
The streaming release follows a disappointing theatrical run. The thriller opened in theaters nationwide on February 20.

According to Box Office Mojo data cited by Art Threat, the movie grossed only $710,000 from 1,100 theaters during its opening weekend.
With a production budget of just under $10 million, the film ultimately earned a worldwide theatrical total of roughly $3 million.
Psycho Killer marks the directorial debut of Gavin Polone. The screenplay was written by Andrew Kevin Walker, the writer behind the 1995 film Se7en.
Georgina Campbell stars as a Kansas highway patrol officer pursuing a sadistic serial killer, played by James Preston Rogers, who murdered her state trooper husband.
The film received predominantly negative reviews from critics.

It holds a 9% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 45 reviews, as it was not screened for critics ahead of its launch.
Verified audience scores on the platform reached 36% from more than 250 ratings.
The official synopsis from 20th Century Studios describes the plot: "Following the brutal murder of her husband, a Kansas highway patrol officer (Georgina Campbell) sets out on a journey to track down the perpetrator.
As the hunt progresses, she comes to realize the man responsible (James Preston Rogers) is a sadistic serial killer, and the depth of his mental depravity and his sinister agenda is more twisted than anyone could have imagined."

The movie is available for bundle subscribers on Disney+ and arrives on the platforms roughly 13 weeks after its theatrical premiere, following an initial digital video-on-demand release in early April 2026.
