Netflix has scheduled the release of its original comedy film Little Brother for June 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM PT, the streaming platform announced.
The movie stars comedian Eric André and action star John Cena in a story about a dysfunctional family, directed by Matt Spicer.

Plot and Cast
The narrative follows Rudd (Cena), a successful real estate agent whose structured life is disrupted when his eccentric younger brother Marcus (André) reappears unexpectedly.
The plot originates from a high school charity event where Rudd was paired with Marcus, who eventually moves into Rudd's home and bonds with his wife Deirdre, played by Michelle Monaghan.
The supporting cast includes Christopher Meloni as Cena's biological older brother, along with Ego Nwodim, Sherry Cola, Caleb Hearon, and Ben Ahlers.
Matt Spicer directs from a screenplay by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel. This marks Spicer's first feature project since his 2017 dark comedy Ingrid Goes West.
The script was tailored to accommodate André's physical and boundary-pushing comedic style, which previously involved throwing André through a shelf during Cena's 2020 guest appearance on André's talk show.

Netflix's promotional tagline states: "Eric André is about to blow up John Cena's life—and teach the successful real estate agent what brotherhood really means."
Cena expressed enthusiasm for the project, saying he was asked to read the script and was curious who would play the little brother.
"When it was Eric André, having been a fan of Eric and seeing his personality shown on The Eric André Show, with all of the physical comedy, all of the pushing boundaries… It was written for Eric, and he just needed a comedic straight face to bounce the absurdity off of.
And man, I'm grateful to get that seat," Cena said.
