Four people, including two adults and two children, were found dead from gunshot wounds Wednesday night in a home in Los Angeles' North Hills neighborhood.

Authorities believe the incident was a multiple murder-suicide.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 7:50 p. m.

in the 16000 block of Londelius Street. All four individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives are leading the investigation. Aerial footage from local news showed police tape blocking off a large section of the residential street.

No External Suspects Sought

A law enforcement source familiar with the case said preliminary evidence points to a murder-suicide.

The source, who was not authorized to speak publicly, indicated investigators are not actively searching for any outside suspects.

As of Wednesday night, no arrests had been made. Officials have not released the identities, ages, or genders of the deceased, pending family notification.
