A shooting in a San Jose mall parking lot on Tuesday afternoon left one person injured and led to the arrest of a suspect.

The incident, believed to stem from a road rage confrontation, occurred around 4:00 p. m.

Officers responding to reports of gunfire found a victim with at least one gunshot wound in the parking area.

The wounded individual was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

Police located a suspect nearby, made an arrest, and recovered a firearm at the scene.
