According to NBC10, temperatures will remain dramatically lower due to the incoming precipitation. The afternoon high for Philadelphia is expected to reach 64 degrees Fahrenheit.

Clouds and light morning showers will transition into more consistent rain. Skies will remain overcast moving into Friday.

Temperatures on Friday are expected to drop slightly further to a high of 61 degrees Fahrenheit. Potential scattered light showers are also forecast.

Weekend Weather Outlook

A more intense weather system is projected to bring soaking rain and gusty winds on Saturday. The regional high is expected to lower to 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

The heavier rainfall introduces a potential for localized flooding and water ponding on area roadways. Conditions are forecast to improve by Sunday afternoon.

Precipitation is expected to taper off Sunday, giving way to potential sunshine and a high of 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mostly cloudy skies and minor chances of light showers will persist into Memorial Day Monday.

Despite the clouds, a high of 71 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday will prevent a total holiday washout.
