An exchange of gunfire wounded two teenage males at an East side barbershop in Cleveland, Ohio, on Thursday afternoon.

The shooting occurred around 1:00 p. m.

in the 3000 block of Superior Avenue, located within the Goodrich-Kirtland Park neighborhood.

The victims, identified as a 14-year-old and an 18-year-old, were targeted at a building near East 31st Place and Danford Court.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the specific name of the establishment where the altercation took place.

Cleveland EMS and police officers responded to the location following emergency calls regarding the incident.

Emergency responders transported both victims to MetroHealth Medical Center, according to information provided by Cleveland EMS to FOX 8 News.

Officials reported that both teenagers were in stable condition after arrival at the hospital.

Investigators discovered multiple shell casings scattered across an adjacent parking lot at the scene, as shown in photographic evidence captured after the event.

Cleveland police officers are currently searching for the suspect, who remains on the run.
