Launched ten years ago by Tim Hofman and Marije de Roode, the platform has published over 550 videos and amassed more than 1 million followers.

BOOS has prompted dozens of parliamentary questions and secured multiple prestigious media awards.
The program's work often targets prominent business figures and wealthy individuals, leading to physical altercations and legal threats.
In a 2024 interview with Humo, host Tim Hofman criticized exploitative wealth, stating, "If you become a millionaire by exploiting people, you are supposedly successful in life.

A 2017 incident involved real estate businessman Ton Hendriks, where Hofman suffered a broken jaw and concussion during a confrontation in Nijmegen.
In January 2022, BOOS broadcast its most notable investigation into sexual misconduct allegations at The Voice of Holland, featuring an interview with format creator John de Mol.
Other investigations targeted crypto millionaire Vasco Rouw's alleged 120 million euro pump-and-dump scheme, poor studio conditions under artist Joseph Klibansky, and landlord Dirk Oerlemans over substandard housing.
