Pictures and DC Studios have stepped up marketing for their upcoming "Supergirl" film, releasing new promotional materials and planning a major fan event before its global theatrical debut on June 24, 2026.

The studios debuted two television spots with fresh footage and unveiled five character posters on social media via DC Studios co-chairman James Gunn.
Directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, the film is based on the comic series "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" by Tom King and Bilquis Evely.
The story follows Kara Zor-El, played by Milly Alcock, on an interstellar quest for vengeance alongside an alien girl named Ruthye Marye Knoll, portrayed by Eve Ridley.
The cast also includes Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Jason Momoa as Lobo, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, and Emily Beecham as Alura.
London Fan Event Scheduled
To accelerate the promotional rollout, London's Leicester Square will host a special "Supergirl" Sneak Peek Fan Event on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

The red-carpet event will feature appearances by director Craig Gillespie, producer Peter Safran, and cast members Milly Alcock, Jason Momoa, Eve Ridley, and Matthias Schoenaerts, according to supermanhomepage.
