The California Highway Patrol issued a statewide Amber Alert on Monday for a 4-year-old girl who vanished from the Los Angeles area on Sunday.
Authorities believe the child is in imminent danger.

Daleza Fregoso was last seen at approximately 4 a. m.
on May 24, 2026, according to official alerts distributed on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officials described the child as standing 3 feet tall, weighing roughly 45 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Suspect and Vehicle Identified
Law enforcement officials identified a specific suspect and vehicle associated with the disappearance.

The license plate numbers provided across official notices contained minor variations of 9DAW716 or 9DAW715.
"Daleza Fregoso was abducted by Ruben Fregoso and they are believed to be in a white 2019 Land Rover Discovery," the alert said.
Investigators described the suspect, 40-year-old Ruben Fregoso, as a man standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The exact relationship between the suspect and the young girl has not yet been established by police.
