Halifax Regional Police and emergency crews are actively searching for a missing newborn in a Halifax neighborhood after a woman was hospitalized in life-threatening condition.
Police were alerted Friday night about a woman admitted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Medical assessments revealed she had recently given birth.

The infant has not yet been found, authorities said. Four individuals have been taken into custody for questioning, but no charges have been filed.
