Donald Trump Jr. and Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

The couple opted for a secluded tropical destination instead of the White House venue originally considered by the bride.

Multiple sources reported that Anderson initially expressed interest in hosting the nuptials at the White House.

However, concerns regarding appropriateness during the ongoing US-Israel war with Iran led the groom and President Donald Trump to advise against the location, a sentiment Anderson ultimately agreed with.

The weekend festivities followed a formal legal marriage recorded on Thursday, May 21, 2026, in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Fewer than 50 guests, including close friends and family members such as Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump, and the groom's five children, attended the highly secure island event.

"Forever yours" and "Forever mine," wrote Bettina Anderson on her Instagram story alongside an image of the couple showing their wedding bands.

The social media post captured the private nature of the celebration, which required enhanced security protocols after the location leaked to the public earlier in the week.

"This has really been the most unforgettable weekend of my life, and I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel just, like, the luckiest girl in the world," said Anderson during previous remarks at the White House following their engagement.

Anderson has frequently shared glimpses of her upscale lifestyle online, often pairing fashion links with humorous commentary about her relationship and daily routines.

"Now I have to know the make and model of the planes I get on?!! I barely know what kind of cars there are!"

she wrote on social media.

The influencer also joked about the adjustments of living with a partner while documenting their public courtship over the past year.

"So he's just like, always there? in your house?

and you don't get sick of him?" she wrote, recounting a conversation with a friend.

The couple previously hosted a massive bridal shower for hundreds of attendees at the Mar-a-Lago ballroom in April.

"Palm Beach season is our Winter Olympics," Anderson wrote next to a photo of the couple in formal wear.

President Donald Trump did not travel to the Bahamas for the Saturday ceremony, citing official responsibilities in the nation's capital.

"I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D. C.

, at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!"

the president stated via Truth Social.
