The private event drew around 40 close friends and family members to a location the couple frequently visits, according to a source cited by People.

The groom's five children from his previous marriage to Vanessa Kay Haydon attended the nuptials.

Siblings Ivanka Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Eric Trump also attended with their spouses, following an initial Thursday marriage ceremony held in West Palm Beach as reported by the New York Times.

Event planning was handled by New York firm Lewis Miller Design, while Florida-based Sweet Stacy's provided the tiered cake.

The marriage marks the first for Anderson, who was previously engaged to Beau Wrigley. Trump Jr. previously ended an engagement with Kimberly Guilfoyle in December 2024.

Family Reactions

Family members expressed their support and shared details about the couple's relationship following the ceremony.

"Don and Bettina are wonderful together," said Eric Trump, the groom's brother, to Page Six.

"I'm so proud to have witnessed so much of their journey as a couple.

They truly light up around each other and it's been amazing watching their story unfold. Couldn't be happier for them on their special day."

President Donald Trump did not attend either wedding event, confirming his absence on Truth Social by citing White House duties.

White House and Trump family representatives noted that Anderson originally desired a White House wedding, but the proposal faced opposition from both Trumps.

"While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so," wrote Donald Trump on Truth Social.

"I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D. C.

, at the White House during this important period of time."

The president also briefly addressed the marriage during a Thursday press briefing. "Hopefully they're going to have a great marriage," he told reporters.

The president's absence drew public criticism from his cousin during a Friday media appearance on "The Dean Obeidallah Show."

"So it's very difficult to be loved if you don't love anybody," said Mary Trump, the president's cousin, to host Dean Obeidallah.

The interview focused heavily on the president's personality, his reactions to media figures like Stephen Colbert, and his perceived emotional state.

Mary Trump said, "So he is always feeling that he's at risk of being revealed to be who he is.

Now most of us, anybody with any sentient being knows what he really is, but a lot of people are fooled by him because … he's had a lot of people helping him fool people, right?"

The discussion then turned to the energy required to maintain the president's public image.

"Don't underestimate how much of his psychic and emotional energy he has spent trying to perpetuate this bogus mess that he's some great brilliant entrepreneur businessman self-made man, what have you.

So, he's also very threatened by people who actually have talent, because he's not one of them," said Mary Trump.

The host commented on the end of CBS's long-running program "The Late Show" and its impact on the president.

"That's the unique thing, because he wants you to fear him, not laugh at him.

He doesn't want to be a punchline, he wants to be someone that intimidates," said Dean Obeidallah.

Obeidallah questioned whether the president understood the media's continued coverage of the comedian.

"Because in his mind, he is the Mussolini slash whatever other dictator you want to fit in there.

Does he really think that Colbert is gone now … Anything Colbert says about Trump will be picked up by the media in a second going forward.

Does he not get that?"

Mary Trump responded by analyzing the president's reactions to public humor and criticism.

"What's really important that he also doesn't get is that by reacting the way he does to these things, he just shows how weak he is.

You know, if he really were a strong person, he wouldn't care if people made fun of him."

The host asked if the president felt upset about popularity comparisons with media figures.

"Do you think it upsets him he will never be loved as much as Stephen Colbert is loved?

It's just never gonna happen," said Obeidallah.

Mary Trump concluded her remarks by discussing her family history and the president's motivations.

"Well I don't mean to be reductive, but this is essentially true that the reason we're in this mess is because Donald never has been loved and, unfortunately, that is the thing he most wanted and still wants, but due to complicated circumstances my grandfather actually and my grandmother gets a little credit for this too, they made Donald somebody who desperately wants to be loved and who is utterly unlovable.

So it's not even that Donald isn't as loved as Colbert, nobody loves him — nobody. And he knows it deep down.

That's where the rage and the jealousy come in."

The president reiterated his official statement later that day online.

"While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so.

I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D. C.

, at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!"

Mary Trump repeated her perspective regarding the president's emotional capacity at the end of the broadcast. "Well, this is the other thing he's incapable of loving as well."
