The entire team from Involved Holidays raised more than £1,000 for LOROS Hospice by completing a 26.2-mile marathon walk around Rutland Water during National Walking Month.
The staff finished the endurance challenge in under ten hours, using snacks like Haribo and mini pork pies for fuel.

The Harborough-based specialist walking tour operator chose LOROS due to personal experiences, as several team members have previously relied on the hospice to care for friends and family facing terminal cancer.
LOROS Hospice delivers free medical care and family support services to more than 2,500 terminally ill individuals across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
Managing Director Steve West praised the resilience of his staff during the charity initiative.
“LOROS Hospice does fantastic work within our local community for those living with life limiting illness.
The work they do has personally touched our team, and so we are delighted to be able to support their efforts in any way we can.
The team were fantastic and tackled this challenge with spirit and smiles – we even smashed our estimated completion time too!”

West also expressed his appreciation to the members of the public who financed the fundraising walk.
“A huge thank you to everyone that supported us with donations and of course to the team for their time and effort on the day,” he added.

Separately, local tourism activity at Rutland Water includes a May Half Term outdoor promotion hosted by Rumble Live Action Gaming.
