Children's entertainer Daniel Coleman, known professionally as Danny Go, announced on Instagram that his 14-year-old son, Isaac Daniel Coleman, died on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Isaac had been battling stage 3 mouth cancer and complications from a rare genetic condition called Fanconi anemia.

The YouTube star, whose channel has over 4.5 million subscribers, had previously shared his son's medical struggles.

The family moved Isaac to hospice care in April 2026 to focus on his comfort after his condition worsened, leading Coleman to cancel the remainder of his live tour in February 2026.

Fanconi anemia is a rare inherited disorder that prevents bone marrow from producing enough blood cells and increases the risk of early tumor development.

Coleman had disclosed the stage 3 mouth cancer diagnosis in December 2025, noting that such a malignancy was nearly certain due to the genetic condition.

"Oh my sweet boy. There's so much I want to say, but I don't know how yet.

I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process," Coleman wrote on Instagram.

The father of two, who also has an 8-year-old son named Levi with his wife Mindy, expressed pride in his eldest child's strength.

"But looking through thousands of pictures and videos this past week, I'm also filled with tremendous pride.

Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit … and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all," he wrote.

Fellow children's entertainer Ms. Rachel publicly offered condolences on Instagram, calling on her followers to support the Coleman family.

"Please send so much love and so many thoughts and prayers to Danny Go and his beautiful family.

We are so sorry for their loss," Ms. Rachel wrote.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, Fanconi anemia causes gene mutations that can lead to bone marrow failure syndrome, blood disorders, and physical differences at birth.
