Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault outside a bar in Weston-super-Mare.
The incident took place around 8 p. m.

on Saturday, April 25, outside Vinnie's on West Street.
According to authorities, two unidentified men approached the victim and argued with him about moving from his table.
One of the suspects then punched the victim in the face, causing a broken jaw that required hospital treatment.
The victim is now recovering at home.
The primary suspect is described as a very tall white man with multiple tattoos, wearing a t-shirt and shorts at the time.

Investigating officers have spoken with the victim and the bar but found no suitable CCTV footage covering the area of the altercation.
Police believe several bystanders were outside the bar when the confrontation occurred and may have witnessed the event.
“We believe there were several people outside the bar at the time of the incident who may have seen something.
