The annual amfAR Gala in Antibes, France, raised millions of dollars for AIDS research on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

The event took place at the Hotel Du Cap, Eden Roc, drawing stars away from the Cannes Film Festival.

Actress Geena Davis hosted the charity dinner and auction.

Singer Lizzo expressed excitement on the red carpet, saying she wants to bring back "good, clean fun" and encourage people to dance and laugh.

Auction Highlights

A walk-on role in the final season of "Emily in Paris" was auctioned twice, each fetching 375,000 euros ($435,545).

Actor William Abadie presented the item.

The top bid of the night was 2.8 million euros ($3,252,228) for a full set of Andy Warhol screen prints of Marilyn Monroe.

A limited-edition Audemars Piguet watch sold for 1,450,000 euros ($1,684,160), and Chopard diamond earrings brought 600,000 euros ($696,906).

Robbie Williams and Zara Larsson performed for guests including Rami Malek, Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum, Sofia Carson, Natasha Poly, and Bar Refaeli.

In a separate interview, Geena Davis shared ideas for sequels to her films "The Fly" and "A League of Their Own."

She mentioned concepts titled "Flies" and "A Little League of Their Own."

Since its founding in 1985, amfAR has raised nearly 841 million euros ($950 million) and awarded over 3,800 grants for global AIDS research.
