BBC presenter Tony Livesey has temporarily stepped back from his weeknight radio show on BBC Radio 5 Live.
The decision follows allegations raised about his former career as editor-in-chief of Sport Newspapers.

The move came after a joint investigation by Panorama and the Times accused West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan of historical sexual misconduct.
The documentary reported on seven women accusing Sullivan of predatory behavior.
Livesey, 62, will take a break from his late-night program. The BBC said it will review the issues detailed in the documentary.
Sullivan resigned as a director and co-chair of West Ham United before the broadcast.
He denied the accusations through a legal statement, calling them "factually incorrect and entirely false."
One woman alleged that Livesey introduced her to Sullivan in 1999 before an unwanted sexual encounter.
Livesey told the Times he had "no recollection" of the introduction and said arranging such meetings was not part of his professional responsibilities.
He stated he had minimal contact with models appearing in the newspaper.

Livesey expressed "great sympathy for a woman who may have become a victim" but firmly denied playing "any role whatsoever in that scenario," calling the allegation "abhorrent."
Book Feature Under Scrutiny
Livesey also addressed a feature from his 1998 book called "countdown to 16," which counted down to models' 16th birthdays.
He said the feature was not his creation and that large parts of the book were fictionalized for dramatic effect.
He noted the text was altered to position him at the center of the publication's activities.
Livesey spent 18 years at the Sport titles before moving to the BBC in 2006.
The BBC confirmed it is investigating the matters raised by the documentary. A spokesperson said: "The Panorama investigation included allegations about Tony Livesey which we take seriously.
We also note Tony has firmly denied the allegations.
