Titled "Christina Grimmie: Her Voice and Legacy a Decade Later," the film was produced by New Jersey-based GLMG Production Company.

The documentary focuses on celebrating the artist's life, music, and enduring faith rather than the tragedy of her passing.

Grimmie initially built a massive online following through YouTube before rising to national prominence on The Voice, where she achieved a third-place finish in 2014.

The retrospective features personal reflections from her father, Bud, and her brother, Marcus.

It also highlights the post-tragedy efforts of the Grimmie family foundation in providing hope and support to others.

Director Chris Grant Jr., a New Jersey native and former Nickelodeon voice actor who developed a close relationship with the family, helmed the project through his production firm established in 2022.

"Christina is a light, and that's exactly what people need," said Grant, founder of GLMG Production Company.

He added that his objective was to deliver a film reflecting Grimmie's compassion and authenticity to introduce her legacy to a younger generation of viewers.

The premiere coincides historically with other notable June 10 events, including the passings of actor Spencer Tracy in 1967, musician Ray Charles in 2004, and the 2016 shooting of Grimmie herself.
