Comedy Central's The Daily Show will split its anchor desk responsibilities between veteran host Jon Stewart and correspondent Desi Lydic for the week of June 8, 2026.

Fonda promoted the upcoming Committee for the First Amendment benefit concert on June 14 in New York City, an alternative to the White House cage match.
Lydic takes over from Tuesday through Thursday, marking her fifth week hosting the program this year. That puts her atop the show's 2026 hosting leaderboard.
Fellow correspondents Michael Kosta and Jordan Klepper have each hosted four weeks, while Ronny Chieng and Josh Johnson have three weeks apiece.
Star-Studded Guest Lineup
Lydic's scheduled guests include actress Laverne Cox on Tuesday, actor Nina Dobrev on Wednesday, and tennis legends Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert on Thursday.
The lineup is unusually star-studded for the show, which typically features authors and policy figures.

Brousseau is a senior executive at Emerald Expositions in the luxury jewelry trade show industry.
The couple married in a private ceremony on September 13, 2014, and keep their relationship out of the spotlight.
The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p. m.
