The FBI has placed a Minnesota man on its newly created "Most Wanted Fraudsters" list for his alleged involvement in the Feeding Our Future pandemic relief scheme.
Federal authorities are offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Said Abdullahi Ereg.

Ereg, a former grocery and deli owner in south Minneapolis, has been wanted for over two years. A federal arrest warrant was issued on January 24, 2024.
Prosecutors allege that between April 2020 and April 2021, Ereg's business enrolled in the Federal Child Nutrition Program under the sponsorship of Feeding Our Future, a non-profit organization.
The business allegedly acted as a front for large-scale financial crime, falsely claiming to have served more than 1.4 million meals to children in need.
As a result, Ereg received over $4.2 million in federal reimbursement payments, according to investigators.
Instead of using the money to feed children, investigators allege Ereg funded a luxurious lifestyle for his family and transferred large sums to foreign accounts controlled by overseas entities.

Federal prosecutors charged Ereg with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering.
The FBI launched the public index to target fugitives accused of major financial crimes.
The initial list features eight individuals accused of stealing between $1.3 million and $1.2 billion.
"Fraud is not a victimless crime," the FBI said in a press release, noting that victims lose their savings, homes, businesses, and benefits.
The FBI is directing anyone with information about Ereg's location to submit tips online or contact local law enforcement, the national toll-free tipline, or the nearest U.
