Television presenter Dyantha Brooks advanced to the next week of the musical competition show Stars on Stage after surviving elimination during the Friday broadcast.

nl, Brooks placed at the bottom of the leaderboard with 10.5 stars alongside contestant Monique Klemann after receiving the fewest stars from the reviewers.
The two performers had to repeat their musical numbers without any decor, special lighting, or a supporting ensemble to mirror a realistic theater audition environment known as The Final Curtain.
The elimination process began after Klemann performed a song from the musical Doe Maar, followed by Brooks singing a track from On Your Feet!
Host Jamai Loman then introduced the elimination results, which saw Brooks secure her position in the competition exclusively through the public votes.
Brooks expressed deep passion for the performance, noting that singing the track had fulfilled a long-standing personal ambition.

Jury member Paul de Leeuw noted that while her enthusiasm was highly visible, the vocal performance suffered due to the intense physical demands of the routine.

Co-juror Albert Verlinde commended Brooks for her self-awareness and effort on stage despite the vocal challenges.
"Ik ben blij dat je verteld hebt dat je zelf bedacht hebt om dit te doen.
Je bent je eigen criticus, je hebt het zelf allemaal gezegd, maar je zette je beste beentje voor," said Verlinde.
Guest jury member April Darby highlighted the personal connection between the chosen song and the contestant's family heritage.
"Wat ik zo leuk vond aan dit optreden is dat het over jouw Arubaanse roots gaat.
Jij luisterde altijd naar salsa en je was helemaal fan van dit nummer," remarked Darby.
During the evaluation, presenter Buddy Vedder questioned Brooks about her emotional reactions directed toward the studio audience.
"Je vertelde dat je dit voor je familie wilde doen.
Je wilde het plezier dat jij altijd in deze muziek hebt gevonden overbrengen naar de zaal," continued Darby.
Brooks became visibly emotional on stage while acknowledging the consistent support of her parents and brother throughout her artistic development.
"Mijn ouders en mijn broer zitten hier iedere week," explained Brooks.
"Mijn ouders hebben me vroeger altijd van dansles naar dansles gebracht en altijd gezegd: 'Kind, ga doen wat jij leuk vindt.'

Following the announcement of the public vote results, Brooks confirmed her commitment to preparing for the upcoming round of the competition.
