Model Daphne Joy has confirmed her appearance in a leaked video that surfaced online on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
The footage, recorded without her consent, involves her former partner Sean "Diddy" Combs and sex worker Sly Diggler.

Joy alleged that the individual who filmed the video used it as an extortion tool.
She claimed they demanded a large sum of money from her before the video was made public.
According to Joy, she refused to pay, leading the person to sell the recording to a major media outlet.
The outlet later declined to broadcast it after realizing it was revenge porn.
"Everybody plays the fool sometime, and I have been the biggest fool," Joy wrote in an Instagram statement.
"I just wanted my man at the time to be happy and satisfied… I wanted to fulfill all his desires.
Even if that meant breaking my own boundaries."
Joy described the emotional toll of the situation, saying she fainted upon learning a media company had the footage.
She stated, "I was blackmailed by the person in the video and was threatened that if I didn’t give him the lump sum of money that they would leak it on the web."

The footage reportedly shows Combs watching Joy and Diggler. Diggler had previously acknowledged the existence of a recorded encounter during an interview in December 2025.
Joy added, "Once the media company understood the tape they purchased was revenge porn and an extortion scheme, they backed off from broadcasting it."
She described the experience as abusive and triggering.
50 Cent's Reaction
Rapper 50 Cent, who shares a son named Sire Jackson with Joy, publicly responded to the leak.
He uploaded screenshots of the video to Instagram with commentary about the impact on their child.
"Free Diddy he has gone through enough being born with no penis. LOL," 50 Cent wrote in his initial post.
He later expressed concern about how the disclosure would affect their son as he enters eighth grade.
"She's not a victim, SIRE is.
Can you imagine going to eighth grade to find out this is your mom," 50 Cent added in a subsequent post.

Joy is believed to have provided anonymous testimony against Combs in his ongoing federal sex trafficking case. She dated Combs from 2021 until his arrest in 2024.
