The Mega Millions jackpot has surged to an estimated $296 million, with a cash value option of $128.6 million, ahead of the Friday, May 22, 2026 drawing.
The prize has been rolling over for more than two months. The last grand prize winner claimed $60 million on St. Patrick's Day in Ohio.

Winning Numbers and Game Details
The winning numbers for the May 22 drawing are 3, 22, 34, 54, and 61, with the gold Mega Ball number 8.
Players who match all six numbers can choose a lump-sum payment or annual payments increasing by 5% each year.
Tickets cost $5 each. Players select five numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball from 1 to 24.

All tickets now include a built-in multiplier that automatically increases non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times.
