Rolling Stones vocalist Mick Jagger is taking on the role of a lighthouse keeper in the upcoming feature film directed by Alice Rohrwacher.
Production is currently underway on the Italian island of Stromboli.

Italian media captured photographs of Jagger arriving on the island via helicopter, as reported by The Guardian. He joins the project titled Three Incestuous Sisters.
The film is an adaptation of the 2005 visual novel by Audrey Niffenegger, author of The Time Traveler's Wife.
The story is a fairytale about three sisters who fall in love with the son of a lighthouse keeper.
Rohrwacher is making her English-language debut with this production.
She previously won the best screenplay award at Cannes in 2018 for Happy as Lazzaro, followed by her 2023 film La Chimera.

Jagger shares the screen with an ensemble cast that includes Dakota Johnson, Jessie Buckley, and Saoirse Ronan. Actor Josh O'Connor also stars, portraying the son of Jagger's character.
