Reverend and the Makers frontman Jon McClure has collaborated with mainstream pop star Robbie Williams on a new track titled "F***** Up" for the band's latest album, Is This How Happiness Feels?
, which is out now.

The indie rock group, which achieved early fame with three top 10 records, connected with Williams after the pop singer expressed admiration for McClure's daytime disco business, Day Fever, and commented on Instagram.
The two musicians eventually bonded over shared experiences with ADHD during a three-day meeting in Switzerland, according to a report by the Yorkshire Post on May 21, 2026.
How the Collaboration Came Together
McClure stated that a mutual friend suggested they connect after Williams showed appreciation for his work, leading to text messages and video calls between the pair.
The frontman traveled to Switzerland the following week to meet Williams in person after receiving an invitation during one of their conversations.
The musicians spent three days talking and built a strong personal friendship during the visit.
McClure later attended a Williams concert at Co-op Live in Manchester, which increased his appreciation for the pop star's extensive catalog of hit songs.

McClure noted that the track they recorded together addresses the dark realities and substance pressures of the rock and roll lifestyle, a theme Williams understands well.
The frontman emphasized that the lifestyle ceases to be glamorous when it leads to tragic outcomes for those involved.
McClure reflected on the dangerous normalization of heavy drinking and substance abuse that characterized the music industry during the 1990s and 2000s.
Beyond Music: Sheffield FC and Other Ventures
Beyond music, McClure has taken on the role of chairman at Sheffield FC, the world's oldest active football club, which was founded 169 years ago.
McClure expressed pride in his home city of Sheffield, calling it a highly vibrant creative hub alongside acts like Self Esteem and Bring Me The Horizon.
Reverend and the Makers are scheduled to begin a tour of the United Kingdom this month, with a performance locked in for Sheffield's Tramlines Festival on July 26.
