Publicis Groupe, the French marketing communications giant, has officially agreed to acquire LiveRamp, a data collaboration platform, in a cash deal valued at approximately $2.2 billion.

Under the terms, Publicis will pay $38.50 per share, representing a nearly 30% premium over LiveRamp's closing stock price last Friday.
