KFC has brought back its popular fried pickles to menus across the United States, starting May 18, 2026.

The return comes with new digital-exclusive snack combinations and a limited-time beverage option.

The fast-food chain also launched discounted chicken tender promotions timed to coincide with major basketball postseason games.

Fried Pickles Return with New Sauces

The returning fried pickles are served in an eight-piece order with a choice of dipping sauce.

Customers can select from recently debuted sauces, including Jalapeño Ranch and Honey Chili Crisp.

KFC also introduced the KFC Signature Prickly Pear Lemonade, which blends their standard lemonade with the flavor of prickly pear cactus.

Two digital-exclusive snack boxes are available on the company app and website. They pair the fried pickles with either five chicken nuggets or a side of fries.

“The pickle craze is here to stay,” said Melissa Cash, CMO of KFC U. S.

The brand is leveraging customer enthusiasm from last year to drive the current product launch.

“The response to our fried pickles last summer proved that demand is still strong,” Cash said. “We’re building on that momentum by bringing them back to our menu.”

“This time, fans can pair their fried pickles with our bold new sauces and a refreshing lemonade,” she added.

“It’s a craveable lineup of savory, spicy and cool flavors, all built around that signature crunch they can’t get enough of.”

Basketball Season Deals

For basketball season, KFC Rewards Members can purchase five chicken tenders and two dipping sauces for $5 through the company app or website.

Additionally, a $5 Chicken Variety Box containing two pieces of dark meat chicken, five nuggets, a dipping sauce, and a medium drink is available for a limited time.

The new menu items and promotions are part of KFC’s strategy to attract customers with limited-time offerings and digital-exclusive deals.
