The documentary also explores her first cancer battle in 2005, during which she delayed medical treatment to pursue fertility options.

"There is so much more to cancer than just, 'you had it, you got through and you're fine – you're fine for now,'" she said.

Minogue recalled the fear associated with postponing crucial medical procedures to attempt to preserve her dream of motherhood.

"I postponed my chemotherapy to try which was quite scary at the time because you just want it out, gone," she explained.

The artist attempted in vitro fertilization multiple times despite the incredibly low medical odds of success. "I did try a few times with IVF," she said.

She described the fertility treatments as a final effort to conceive before closing that chapter of her life.

"It was such a thread of hope. But I couldn't not try," Minogue stated.

The singer accepted that the treatments did not result in a pregnancy, viewing her written reflections as a tribute to that period.

"If it had happened it would have been just shy of a miracle. But it didn't work out that way.

So this was a letter to what might've been," she said.

Minogue then shared the specific lines she wrote regarding the child she was unable to have: "Distant child, my flower, are you blowing in the breeze?

Can you feel me as I breathe life into you?"

Her sister, Dannii Minogue, expressed deep sorrow over how the illness disrupted Kylie's natural maternal instincts. "She's just amazing with kids.

She's always been good with kids, just naturally incredible," Dannii said.

Dannii highlighted the emotional contrast between their initial expectations of adulthood and the reality they faced.

"I never saw myself as a parent and she always did, and that is heartbreaking," she added.

The three-part project, directed by Emmy-winning editor Michael Harte and produced by John Battsek, took several years of planning before Minogue agreed to participate.

"It took a number of years for me to say yes to him," Minogue said.

She admitted she routinely delayed the production due to her intense schedule and lack of readiness.

"I'd just go, either there's too much going on, or I don't feel ready. But at a certain point I thought, if not now, when?"

she explained.

The documentary features extensive interviews, personal home videos, and reflections on her career, including her time on the soap opera "Neighbours" alongside Jason Donovan.

"Life makes sense to me onstage," Minogue said.
