Country duo Florida Georgia Line may reunite for a limited number of shows in 2027, according to Tyler Hubbard.

The singer shared the update during the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards on May 17, 2026.

Hubbard told Entertainment Tonight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas that he and bandmate Brian Kelley have been discussing the idea.

The duo stopped performing together in August 2022 to focus on solo projects.

Reunion Rumors Sparked by Social Media Photos

Recent photographs of the musicians and their wives together online led fans to speculate about a formal reunion tour.

Hubbard addressed the speculation during the interview.

“Yeah, one photo and the world thinks you’re back on tour automatically,” he said.

Hubbard emphasized that the duo is enjoying their renewed friendship and taking a patient approach.

“No, to be honest, we’ve had a blast.

It’s been a really fun season of healing, like you said, and we’ve been hanging out, laughing, cutting up, goofing around, and it just feels like the old days,” Hubbard explained.

He added that they are “trying to soak it up, make the most of it, not rush anything, be really smart about it.”

The singer confirmed they have been “toying around and flirting with the idea of playing a handful of shows next year.”

Hubbard described the current phase as a “honeymoon phase” and said he was heading from Vegas to the beach to spend time with Kelley and their wives.

No New Music Planned Yet

Hubbard clarified that no new collaborative music is currently scheduled due to his personal commitments.

His solo track “Land” is set to debut on May 22, 2026, and he will join Dan + Shay’s fall headlining tour.

“The idea of playing shows together sounds like a lot of fun.

And we’re just trying to keep it low stress, and nothing but a good time,” Hubbard said.

The singer also reflected on the deeper meaning of the potential reunion.

“I think for the world to get to experience a little taste of the emotion and the healing that we’ve gotten to feel,” he said.

Hubbard concluded by emphasizing the broader impact of their personal journey. “It’s really special, and it’s bigger than just us.

It’s bigger than just the music. And it’s actually a story and a powerful testimony to grace and forgiveness and healing,” he said.

Florida Georgia Line formed in 2012 and became one of country music’s most successful duos, known for hits like “Cruise” and “H.O.
