Lindsay Hubbard has confirmed that the original cast members of Summer House have come together to safeguard the reality series following a romantic scandal involving Amanda Batula and West Wilson.

In an interview published on May 18, 2026, Hubbard addressed the turmoil that erupted after Batula announced her separation from Kyle Cooke in January 2026.

Batula later revealed in March that she had been romantically involved with Wilson since February, causing friction because Wilson had previously dated Batula's close friend Ciara Miller.

Speaking with In Touch, Hubbard dismissed concerns about the show's future stability.

“This scandal broke out, and there was a lot of chaos around us.

The OGs got together to be like, ‘Okay, we’re going to protect everything we built in this moment’,” said Hubbard, a longtime cast member.

She emphasized that the core group’s long-standing relationships extend beyond the TV production.

“It’s not just for a TV show, we are sharing the exact same group of friends at all times for like, going on 15 years now,” Hubbard explained, highlighting the deep history of their social circle.

Confidence in the Show's Future

The television personality expressed strong confidence that the established group dynamics will maintain the program's appeal.
