Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez has pledged to support her boyfriend, Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov, at the upcoming French Open in Paris.

She made the announcement during the premiere of her film I Love Boosters in Los Angeles on Wednesday, May 13.

The couple first sparked dating rumors after being photographed holding hands in Madrid in April 2025.

They have since opened up about their relationship dynamics, lifestyle adjustments, and contrasting domestic habits.

Embracing the WAG Role

Gonzalez joked about adjusting to her new title as a supportive partner in the sports world. “I'm a WAG now … He makes fun of me.

I'm like, 'Don't call me a WAG,' but I guess I am,” she told reporters.

The actress expressed immense pride in Dimitrov's work ethic and character.

“He's such a hardworking man and ultimately what I think is the best about him is his spirit.

He's such a good human being,” she said.

She reaffirmed her dedication to attending his matches despite a demanding promotional schedule. “I will be there no matter what.

If I have had two minutes of sleep, it doesn't matter. I'll be there for him,” Gonzalez added.

Her travel plans include following the clay court season before heading to London for the next major tournament.

“I'm heading to Paris next week,” she said.

Bonding with Co-Stars and Director

Beyond her sports travel, Gonzalez discussed the deep bond she formed with co-stars Keke Palmer and Taylour Paige on the female-led set of her new movie.

“[We would] just share each other's experiences, fears, insecurities, desires, dreams, the things we want to do next, motherhood,” she said.

The production provided a unique environment for the minority-led cast to share their parallel career experiences in the entertainment industry.

“It's nice when you're working with women alike that are minorities that we have overlapping parallels of our careers,” Gonzalez noted.

She praised director Boots Riley for centering the narrative on inspiring female characters.

“I've never been in a set with this amount of women ever in my life,” she said.

Contrasting Domestic Habits

In a separate appearance on the “In Your Dreams” podcast with Owen Thiele, Gonzalez shared details about Dimitrov's strict cleanliness rituals.

She compared his folding techniques to organizing icon Marie Kondo.

“He steams every piece of his clothing, like socks, underwear. I'm like, 'G, what's going on here?'

He's like, 'I like everything [clean],'” she told the podcast.

The actress admitted her own messy travel bags often cause humorous panic for the orderly tennis player.

“He has full heart attacks when he sees me, because you should see my bag,” she joked.

Despite their different habits and astrological signs, Gonzalez noted that their personalities balance each other well.
