Daly's Plans for His Son's College Transition

Bush Hager asked whether the milestone would make Daly emotional on camera, prompting him to explain his current mindset.

"I'm looking for real estate around the university," Daly said, noting that whenever he drives past Long Island University Post, he envisions buying an apartment nearby to spend time with his son.

"In my mind, I'm going with him to college, the reality hasn't hit yet that I'm not going," he added.

Daly also admitted to using social media to maintain communication with his teenage daughter, Etta.

"I have literally communicated with my daughter, in particular, more via Snapchat than I have in real life," he said.

Bush Hager's Family Moments on the Show

Bush Hager shared her own family interactions, noting that her 13-year-old daughter Mila frequently critiques her cosmetic choices and television work.

"I'm always like, I could use a little more, but then I think everybody's so scared because we're on TV that all of a sudden I couldn't move my face," Bush Hager said.

She recounted a conversation where Mila suggested she needed cosmetic touch-ups.

"And my daughter the other day was like, 'You know, you could probably use a little Botox.' I'm like, 'Mila, I get Botox,'" she said.

Comedian Matt Rogers joked during a podcast appearance that the teenager "drags" her mother.

"I know, man. She really does.

If you feel like you're like too big for your britches, get a 13-year-old to hang out with you for a little," Bush Hager said.

She added that she modifies her appearance based on Mila's blunt feedback regarding her hair highlights and gray hairs.

"She's like, and your hair highlights, like I can see your grays," Bush Hager said.

She also recalled rewriting a television introduction at 4 a. m.

after Mila critiqued the draft.

"I just interviewed the queen, and I did her introduction and I read her the introduction and she goes, 'It's too much about you, Mom,'" Bush Hager said.
