Kanan's Transformation into a Drug Kingpin

The upcoming season follows Kanan Stark, played by MeKai Curtis, as his innocence fades into coldness during his rise toward becoming a drug kingpin.

According to the network trailer, the plot centers on the aftermath of a major confrontation between Kanan and his mother, Raquel "Raq" Thomas, portrayed by Patina Miller.

Raquel Thomas survived the dramatic season four finale but now refuses to offer protection to her son.

This development makes any potential reconciliation between mother and son highly unlikely before conflict erupts in the Southside neighborhood.

In his pursuit to dominate the local drug trade, Kanan forms a new criminal alliance with a partner named Breeze, played by Shameik Moore.

Entertainment reports indicate that this partnership solidifies Kanan's transition into the ruthless criminal persona featured in the original "Power" universe.
